A letter from our founder
Two decades of building business software led here.

Founder and CEO, Sevenfold
Since 2006, I’ve been building software designed to help businesses work better. That year, I co-founded Klixmedia, a software development agency focused on business solutions.
In 2014, I co-founded Hike POS, a cloud-based point-of-sale platform built around a powerful ecosystem of integrations and automations. The idea was simple: connect the tools businesses already use, remove repetitive work, and give people more time to focus on running their business.
Today, Hike is used by businesses in more than 50 countries.
But the more I worked with integrations and automation, the more I noticed something software alone wasn’t fixing.
Businesses kept adding better tools and smarter workflows, but there was still a person behind almost every task — answering the call, replying to the email, following up the customer, moving information between systems or deciding what needed to happen next.
In 2019, I decided to explore what AI could change.
I founded Looke AI and partnered with the Australian Government to develop an AI-powered prototype for the agriculture industry, exploring how artificial intelligence could bring a new level of automation to real-world operations.
That experience changed the way I thought about software.
Automation could connect systems and follow rules. AI could understand, decide and act.
And as AI became dramatically more capable, a bigger idea started to take shape:
What if businesses didn’t always need another piece of software or another automation?
What if they could simply add another employee?
An AI employee with a defined role. One that could learn how a business works, use the tools that business already relies on, communicate with customers and actually take responsibility for getting everyday work done.
That idea became Sevenfold.
We’re building specialised AI employees for the work businesses have always needed people to do — from answering calls and following up leads to supporting customers and creating content.
Not to replace what people do best, but to give businesses more hands for the work that keeps piling up.
And I believe we’re only at the beginning of what human and AI teams will be able to build together.
