Tax time fills the diary, not the pipeline

Who finds your next business clients while the team lodges returns?

From July to October your accountants are buried in returns, BAS and ATO letters. Nobody has an hour to write to the builder, the café group or the dental practice you’d like on your books. When the rush ends, there’s no one new to call. Meet MAX, Sevenfold’s AI lead generator. He tracks down business owners who fit your firm, writes to them by email and tells you who replies with interest.

Business owners who match your ideal client

Business owners who match your ideal client

Describe the clients you want, such as directors of Brisbane construction firms or owners of cafés with 11 to 50 staff. Every day, at the hour you choose, MAX adds new matches from a large business-contact database.

  • Filters by job title, industry, seniority, location, company size and keywords, and leaves out any titles you exclude
  • Verified work emails only, with each lead’s name, job title and company
The owners worth writing to first

The owners worth writing to first

MAX grades every lead from A to D for fit and timing. A business that has just raised money, has job ads open, or uses software matching your keywords, such as the accounting package your team knows best, goes to the top.

  • Each lead’s ‘why now’ line goes into their first email, so the director sees why your firm wrote
  • Scoring retunes weekly from the signals that drew replies
Emails drafted from your AI Brain, sent once approved

Emails drafted from your AI Brain, sent once approved

MAX writes 1, 3 or 5 emails using your AI Brain: the services your firm offers, from BAS to advisory, and how you pitch them. Edit any, or ask MAX in chat for a fresh one. Nothing leaves until every email is approved.

  • Weekdays, 9am to 6pm in your firm’s time zone by default
  • 50 emails a day by default, up to 500, at least five minutes apart

Is MAX right for your practice?

Made for firms that want more business clients

MAX writes to people at businesses, not households. That suits a practice chasing company work, and it rules a few things out.

Who your campaign can reach

  • Owners and directors of trades, retail and hospitality businesses
  • Practice managers at medical, dental and allied health clinics
  • Finance managers at companies with 51 to 200 staff
  • Businesses in the cities and regions your firm serves

MAX isn’t the right choice if

  • You want individuals who need a personal tax return done
  • You want website enquiries or client referrals followed up
  • You need each lead copied into your practice software
  • You want LinkedIn messages as part of the sequence

When a business owner writes back

Four replies your firm will see, handled

“We’re interested”

MAX stops the sequence, marks the lead qualified and sends you a hot-lead email with the owner’s name, company and email. He also drafts a reply for a partner to check and send.

“Can you take over our payroll?”

A question stops the emails too. MAX writes a suggested answer; your accountant copies it, fixes what’s needed and sends it. MAX never replies to a business owner on his own.

“Ask me again after tax time”

That’s a ’not now’. The lead rests for 45 days, then the sequence starts again from email one.

“Not interested”

MAX marks them unsubscribed and your firm never emails them again. The same goes for anyone who clicks the unsubscribe link at the foot of each email.

Getting started

Your firm’s first campaign in five steps

  1. Switch on lead sourcing. It stays off until you turn it on.
  2. Connect the firm’s mailbox. Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, Zoho Mail or any IMAP/SMTP mailbox. Replies land in that inbox.
  3. Set your firm’s time zone. Emails then go out during your office hours.
  4. Describe the clients you want. Create a campaign with at least one filter, for example retail business owners in Adelaide.
  5. Approve the sequence. MAX starts emailing the owners on your list.

Questions & Answers

What accounting firms ask about MAX

How much does MAX cost?
From AUD $29 a month billed yearly, or AUD $38 billed monthly. Every plan includes MAX, and each lead he finds uses usage credits. Finding leads automatically needs an active paid plan, not a trial.
Can we add businesses we already know?
Yes. Upload a CSV of up to 500 rows at a time into a campaign. MAX doesn’t check uploaded addresses, so tidy the list before you add it.
Will we see who opened our emails?
No. MAX doesn’t track opens or clicks. Each week he posts a report in chat: emails sent, replies and reply rate, qualified leads, and the signal that worked best.

Keep winning business clients, even in the thick of tax time

MAX finds the owners your firm wants, emails them once you approve, and tells you who’s interested. For accounting firms across Australia.

Nothing goes out until you approve it.
