Overview
This page explains how to disconnect your Facebook, Instagram, and Threads accounts from Sevenfold and request the deletion of any data Sevenfold has received from Meta (collectively, “Meta-derived data”). It applies whenever you have connected a Meta account to Sevenfold — for example, to run a Social Media Manager or to send and receive messages through Facebook or Instagram.
If you only want to stop Sevenfold from accessing your Meta accounts going forward, disconnecting is sufficient. If you also want existing Meta-derived data erased, submit a deletion request as described below.
What We Mean by Meta-Derived Data
Meta-derived data is information Sevenfold receives from Meta platforms when you connect an account, which may include:
- Page and profile information — page name, page ID, profile details, and access tokens
- Messages — conversations and direct messages processed on your behalf
- Content metadata — posts, media references, and engagement data used to operate connected AI Employees
- Connection records — logs showing that your Meta account is linked to Sevenfold
How to Disconnect Meta Accounts (In-Product)
You can remove Sevenfold’s access to your Meta accounts at any time from within the platform:
- Sign in to your Sevenfold account.
- Go to Settings → Integrations (or Channels).
- Locate the Facebook, Instagram, or Threads connection.
- Click Disconnect and confirm.
Disconnecting immediately revokes Sevenfold’s access tokens and stops all further data flow from that Meta account. You can also remove Sevenfold directly from Meta at any time via Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations or Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites.
How to Request Deletion of Meta-Derived Data
To request deletion of the Meta-derived data Sevenfold already holds, email privacy@sevenfoldai.com with:
- The subject line “Meta Data Deletion Request”
- The email address associated with your Sevenfold account
- The Facebook, Instagram, or Threads account(s) you want disconnected and erased
You may submit a request even if your account is already disconnected.
What Gets Deleted and When
Upon verifying your request, we will:
- Revoke any remaining Meta access tokens
- Delete the Meta-derived data described above from our active systems
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some information may persist in secure, access-restricted backups for a limited period before those backups are cycled out, and we may retain the minimum records required to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations. Retained records are not used to operate connected AI Employees.
Confirmation
When your deletion request is complete, we email a written confirmation to the account email address on file, stating what was deleted and the date it was finalised. If we are unable to verify your identity or need more information, we will contact you at the same address before proceeding.
